Where does pitch location come from?
Coach Skip Fast
Coach Skip teaches the lower body command needed to keep your pitching dreams moving forward.
Location comes from the way your body works
When you step on very slick ice, without thinking about it, your body goes into alert mode and, to make sure you don’t fall over, your arms take on a life of their own.
Your alert mode ends when you no longer need your arms for balance. It’s only at this point that you can think about how you want to move.
Therefore, when in alert mode, you have no control over your movements, but, when you no longer need your arms for balance, you have complete control over how you want to move.
Location means you want to be out-of-control
Location means …
- Before you complete your stride, you create a moment of balance,
- You then use a pre-planned movement to trigger your alert mode, then
- You let your alert mode use your throwing action to get your body back in balance.
Location comes from proper preparation, understanding alert mode triggers and realizing the combination of the two makes your pitch location almost foolproof.
Location revolves around trust
Pitch location is and exercise in…
- Preparing your body to go into alert mode,
- Sparking your alert mode and
- Trusting your body to produce the pitch location everyone else is searching to find!
If no one you know can teach you to prepare, activate and trust your body to locate your pitches, the “Pitch Location Masterclass?” is here for you!
