When did you last meet your pain?
Did you know that pain can hide?
Behind irritation, behind anger, behind a smile, behind a bad habit.
Pain can also travel. Up and down your entire spine.
Pain can live for years. In your body and mind.
Fortunately, the way to break it wide open and dissipate it into nothing by a wisp of smoke is quite simple.
Meet Pain.
The first step to meeting your pain is to acknowledge that it’s there. Like I said, it's notoriously deceptive and does disguise itself well. So first, just know it’s there.
The second step is to accept that its ok to have pain living in us. For now. It's almost like having a conversation with pain saying, “Ok. So.. hmmm.. you’re here. Alright, let’s see what we can do about you”.

Once this realization has sunk in, we must trust ourselves and go deeper and deeper into the chasm of Whys? Why am I feeling this way? Why do I feel the need to hide it? Why am I afraid of being vulnerable? Why can’t I talk about it? You get the idea I’m sure.. Interlink the why questions with examples from your life, search your memories for incidents and conversations that help you decode your whys.
You will keep at this till you can bring it down to one single thought. A simple core from where the reason emanates. It’s like finding the fire-breathing dragon in Mario at the end of your level. You go through all levels till you find the one single spitfire source of all the Whys.
Now, for the magic trick. The magic question is - Do I want to feel this way?
From here on, the choice will be yours. If you don’t want to feel this way, then nothing and no one can stop you from leaving this feeling behind. From bursting it open into a million tiny particles and making it disappear.
The strength to conjure this spell comes from belief.
So, Pl believe.
Always Believe. In you.
Use your inner belief to guide you onward. All of us can do this. But not without the first step.
Meet your pain.
