Where do you want to be this time next year?

Where do you want to be this time next year?

A lot has been written about the power of believing in yourself, and although it’s massively hard to do, there is a very practical reason why believing in yourself is so important.?

?? Belief and action are linked. ???If you don’t believe that you can be successful in building affluent relationships, how much effort will you put into it? The obvious answer is “Not much.” Sure you might try a few things, but the odds that you’ll sustain the effort is very low. Even more damaging, is that this little effort will result in few results, which reduces further your level of belief in yourself.???

It becomes a self-fulfilling negative spiral. The lack of belief continues to block your willingness to take action, which in turn causes no results. It feeds and feeds upon itself.

Which brings us back to desire.????You have to want this. ?? If you really want something (not nice-to-have but must-have) then you take massive action. And when you take massive action, you then start to get positive results. ???Hey this is working - let’s do more of this!

Now your brain is working is exactly the opposite way.?

? Results give you confidence.?

? Confidence leads to action.?

? Action leads to results.

But remember it has to be the right type of action. The salesman can knock on 100 doors, but if his pitch is “You don’t want this do you?” it’s a waste of effort. For myself? and for my most successful clients, what has built and sustained self confidence more than anything else is faith and purpose. I don’t mean faith in a religious sense, but rather the belief that what you are doing will ultimately get you what you want. For example, that by going to the social event, and forcing yourself to meet new people, you will ultimately have the type of business and kind of life you most desire.

The second part of this is purpose. Having a purpose enables you to overcome shyness or lack of self confidence -?it pretty much enables you to overcome everything because you are driven by that sense of purpose.

Food for thought.
