Where Did The Red Wave Go?

Why didn't the Republicans do as well in the latest election as they thought they would? Here is what I think:

People are actually thinking for themselves for once, and that is exactly why the Republican Party did not do as well in the latest election as they thought they would. The GOP has shown itself to be totally useless over and over and over so many times that many people see no reason to vote for them anymore.

For example, in Ohio where I live, the Ohio House and Senate both had such an overwhelming majority of Republicans that they could do as they please without fear of Democrats stopping them, but what did they do when Ohio Governor DeWine was destroying small businesses in Ohio? They did nothing. What did they do when DeWine closed churches in Ohio? They did nothing. What did they do when DeWine was pulling his election shenanigans? They did nothing. What did they do about DeWine's mask mandates? They did nothing. What did they do when DeWine was sending out his brownshirt goon squads to punish any business that did not follow his unconstitutional mandates? They did nothing. What did they do about expanded mail-in voting in Ohio that is ripe with fraud? They did and do nothing. What did they do when DeWine canceled the poll election in 2020 and made it a mail-in vote on a different date? They did nothing. What did they do about DeWine's destruction of civil rights in Ohio during the covid scare? They did nothing. The Ohio Republican Senate and House which both had an overwhelming majority and could pass just about anything they wanted--or stop anything they wanted to stop--without the Democrats being able to stop them, well, they sat by and they did nothing. The Ohio Republican Party is directly responsible for all of the problems in Ohio created by their out-of-control Republican governor during the covid scare because they had the ability to do something about it with their large majorities in both the Ohio Senate and the Ohio House, but yet they sat by and did nothing.

Moral of the story: the Ohio Republican Party is a useless joke.

On a national level, what has the GOP done about voting fraud? They have done nothing. What have they done about Biden handing over $80+ billion dollars worth of military equipment to our enemies the Taliban? They have done nothing. What have they done about an obviously senile Democrat president who the rest of the world laughs at? They have done nothing. What do they do about such corrupt people as Hillary Clinton and others (including those in their own party)? The do nothing. What did they do to help Trump against all the false charges leveled against him while he was president? They did next to nothing. What do they do about anything in general? Pretty much nothing. What have they done to help the political prisoners (which is exactly what they are--just like in communist countries) of January 6th? They do nothing. The list could go on and on and on. They do nothing. They do nothing. They do nothing. The Republican Party ALWAYS has excuses for doing nothing, but the fact is they do nothing all the time...and they always find an excuse for it.

Moral of the story: The GOP is basically useless.

Yes, the Democrats are socialists who are destroying the United States. But many people realize how useless the Republican party is in doing anything about it, so they feel no need to bother voting for them. The GOP as it stands today is near useless. It is the do-nothing party. The Republicans have brought the lack of enthusiasm on themselves. Many people see the destruction being done by the Democrats, but they also see the uselessness of voting for do-nothing Republicans. So they don't vote. And I can't blame them.

I voted in the latest election (November 2022) just to vote for a write-in candidate for Ohio governor and to vote on several state and local issues. I left just about everything else blank. 90+% of the time I have voted for Republicans in every election I have voted in since 1978. I also have voted for some Libertarians, other 3rd party candidates, some Democrats for local offices, and write-in candidates. But I haven't voted for a Democrat in many, many years since it became evident they are 100% socialist. But this is the first time in 44 years of me voting that I did not vote for a Republican for Ohio governor. And I did not vote for other Republicans on the ballot for an Ohio office either (I also did not vote for the Democrats--I left them blank). I will not vote for useless people. The Ohio Republican Party has shown itself to be useless in supporting both the Ohio and US Constitution, civil rights, and the protection of the people against an overbearing government.

As I have pointed out, the Republicans in Ohio government are useless (or worse yet, destructive to liberty). In fact, on the state level, I will never vote again for any Republican in an Ohio office who is currently in office. I WOULD vote for someone new who is a Republican. But that is dependent on them not being endorsed by the Ohio Republican Party which I consider to be one of the most corrupt political organizations in the United States. The current group of Ohio Republican office holders are totally useless. I will never vote for any of them again.

The Republican Party, especially in Ohio, is the do-nothing party, and so I don't feel any reason to waste my vote on them any longer after doing so for over four decades. Voting for a Republican for an Ohio office is a wasted vote. From here on out, I will go with 3rd party, write-in candidates, or someone totally new who the Ohio Republican Party does not endorse for any Ohio office up for a vote. Otherwise I won't vote for anyone. If the Ohio Republican Party wants my vote they will have to earn. I am no longer just giving it away.

The destruction of the United States is happening for two reasons:

1. The Democrat Party being destructive to everything this country was founded on

2. The Republican Party doing nothing about it

Moral of the story: Neither party is the answer to our problems. And voting for the "lesser of two evils" is only the action of a fool. Evil is still evil. Stop voting for it.

More and more people are seeing the do-nothing Republicans for what they are..the party of doing nothing. And that is why the Republican Party did not do as well in this last election as they thought they would. People are thinking, and while they see the Democrats as the problem, they are also seeing that the GOP is not the answer to the problem. As it stands today, the GOP is near totally useless.

And that is why there was not the red wave the Republican Party expected. People do not trust the Republicans to help the people.

Below is something I wrote in November 2020 along the same lines concerning Ohio Politics and the useless Republican party:

How long are you going to maintain your status as a useful idiot to be used by the Ohio Republican Party? The ORP is not a solution for those living in Ohio. The ORP is the problem. Republican governor Dewine is the problem. Republican Jane Timken, chairman of the ORP is the problem. The Ohio Senate, controlled by the Republicans with a huge majority, is the problem. The Ohio House of Representatives, controlled by the Republicans with a large majority, is the problem. The Democrats have so little power in Ohio politics at the state level that they can do nothing to stop the Republicans from stopping emperor Dewine if the Republicans would choose to so, but the Republican Party of Ohio refuses to stop emperor Dewine.

Ask yourself why your Ohio Republican representatives do nothing to stop their out of control Republican governor. The ORP owns the mask mandates in Ohio; they own the destruction of business in Ohio, they own the school shutdowns, they own the business shutdowns, they own the destruction of civil rights, they own the church shutdowns, they own the destruction of election integrity and the fraud ridden mail-in vote system that now exist in Ohio, they own the destruction of the US and Ohio Constitution in Ohio. The little commie runt Dewine, who thinks himself king, pulled down his pants and told your Republican representative to kiss his ass. And nearly all of them bent over and kissed his ass. And they continue to do so. And these republicans are those you continue to vote for and continue to think will solve Ohio's problems? How long will you be a fool?

And yet so many here continue to yell from the housetops that the Republican party in Ohio is the solution. No, it is not. The Ohio Republican Party is directly responsible for all of the problems we now have in Ohio due to their out of control Republican governor because they have the ability to do something about it with their large majorities in both the Ohio Senate and the Ohio House, but they do nothing. Ask yourself why they do nothing.

It is the Republican Ohio governor who, this past spring, ignored the judicial branch of government who told him he could not change the date of an election. And it is the Ohio Republican Party who allowed him to do so. It is the Ohio Republican Party that allowed their Republican governor to ignore the Ohio Constitution on election law which requires the consent of the legislative branch of Ohio government to change an election, but instead gave that power to an un-elected person whose only qualification was owning a lab coat (remember lab coat Amy?). Thus the Republican party took the votes I gave to a supposedly conservative Ohio Representative and a supposedly conservative Ohio Senator and gave them away to an un-elected liberal to do their job for them. And the Ohio Republican Party who could have done something to stop it, did nothing.

Have you so soon forgotten this past spring, it was the Ohio Republican Party that allowed the destruction of the integrity of election law in Ohio? It is the Ohio Republican Party who gave away there responsibility to control elections and election law to a governor who thinks he is king. It is the Ohio Republican Party that set in motion events this past spring such that for the first time in my life, I could not go to a polling place and vote in person. Have you forgotten this? It was the Ohio Republican Party who did this. It is the Ohio Republican Party that made my votes for Ohio representatives irrelevant by giving their power to someone who was not elected (lab coat Amy). It is the Ohio Republican Party that eliminated the voice of both the judicial and the legislative branches of Ohio government concerning election law. It is the Ohio Republican Party who shredded the Ohio Constitution concerning election law.

And yet, so many look to the Ohio Republican Party to solve election integrity problems. That is a joke. Stop being a fool. The Ohio Republican Party is not the solution. The Ohio Republican Party is the problem. They are not only the problem; they created the problems. They own the election integrity problems in Ohio. The own the mail-in vote system put in place in Ohio, a system that has shown itself to be so open to fraud nationwide. The Ohio Republican Party did not solve any election problems. They created them. They own them. What problems did the Ohio Republican Party solve in Ohio concerning election integrity and election law? What problems did they create? Look at the facts, not the talk of useless and corrupt politicians.

And as time went on, it was the Ohio Republican Party who allowed their Republican governor to close Ohio churches. It is the Republican party who determined the right to gather and the right to worship as one sees fit is no longer a right at all. It was the Ohio Republican Party who allowed their little commie runt king Dewine to close businesses. It is the Ohio Republican Party that shredded both the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Ohio, and said we no longer have rights; we only have privileges granted to us by the Republican governor of Ohio.

It was the Ohio Republican Party who allowed their little commie runt king to take the best economy you have ever seen in Ohio...and destroyed it. It was the Ohio Republican Party who allowed their little commie runt king Dewine to take the highest employment rate you have ever seen in Ohio and let it skyrocket into one of the highest unemployment rates you have ever seen. It is the Ohio Republican Party who has allowed this little commie runt king to destroy a tremendous number of businesses in Ohio. Why do you suppose they allow that? It is the Ohio Republican Party that has caused the destruction of the economy that has caused a tremendous loss of funding for every public school in Ohio.

The Ohio Republican Party has allowed the destruction of business in Ohio, the destruction of the economy, the destruction of jobs, and the destruction of schools. It is the Ohio Republican Party that has destroyed hundreds of Ohio restaurants and other small businesses. It is the Ohio Republican Party that has put hundreds of thousands of people out of work. It is the Ohio Republican Party that in a matter of a few weeks time took the lowest unemployment rate Ohio has ever seen and made it into one of the worst. And yet somehow you still see the Ohio Republican Party as the answer to Ohio problems? How long will you remain a useful idiot for the Ohio Republican Party?

And now it is the Ohio Republican Party that is allowing their little commie runt king Dewine to create more mandatory mask mandates and to send out his squad of brownshirts all over Ohio to enforce his mask mandates. And yet your Ohio Republican Party representatives, who you voted for, continue to bend over and kiss his ass. These are the people you think will solve your problems with Dewine? What is wrong with you?

It is the Ohio Republican Party that created a fear such that for the first time in my life I had gone into a store and the shelves were empty of essential items. Yes, it was the Republicans who did that. The Democrats in Ohio do not have that power. They are too weak in Ohio politics.

It is the Ohio Republican Party that is dividing people. The fear they have created is turning those who value safety over freedom against those who value freedom over safety. This division is even affecting those in their own party! The Ohio Republican Party that attacks the Democrat party for dividing people has itself created the biggest division amongst people that I have ever witnessed in my life. This division does not need to be! Yet the Ohio Republican Party continues to make it worse instead of better. It is the Ohio Republican Party that controls the Ohio House, the Ohio Senate, and the governor's. chair...I mean, the king's throne. The Ohio Republican Party owns every problem their little commie runt king has created in Ohio. And they continue to bend over, kiss his ass, and allow him to continue. The Ohio Republican Party is at fault for allowing their king to replace freedom with government power. So why do you continue to support the Ohio Republican Party?

The Ohio Republican Party has shredded the Ohio Constitution.

The Ohio Republican Party has shredded the United States Constitution.

The Ohio Republican Party has destroyed businesses and created vast unemployment in Ohio.

The Ohio Republican Party has caused the destruction of school funding.

The Ohio Republican Party has destroyed the intregrity of election law in Ohio.

The Ohio Republican Party has destroyed the economy of Ohio.

The Ohio Republican Party has created great divisions among people.

The Ohio Republican Party has shredded and destroyed and divided.

Why is this? I will tell you why. It is because the Ohio Republican Party is completely corrupt. It is because most of your Ohio Republican representatives were put in place by that "deep state" you all continue to whine about but act as if it is only of the Democrat party. And yet you continue to support the Ohio Republican Party. How long will you remain a useful idiot for the corrupt Ohio Republican Party?

I have voted for Republicans for state office in every election until this current one since 1978. I will no longer vote for people from the corrupt and useless Ohio Republican Party. I will no longer vote for any Republican state representatives as long as the little commie runt Republican Dewine is governor. I will no longer vote for any Republican state representatives as long as Jane Timken, cheerleader for Dewine, is chairman of the Ohio Republican Party. I will no longer vote for any Republican in my district as long as my state House representative, Republican Bill Roemer, and state Senator, Republican Kristina Roegnor, are in power. I have voted for them in the past, but have both shown themselves to be totally useless in maintaining conservative values. I want them gone. I will vote against them until they are gone. Both of them are why we now have mask mandates in Ohio. Both of them are why we have government brownshirt goon squads roving Ohio suppressing freedom. They do not stop it. I will never vote for them again.

So how long will you be a useful idiot for the Ohio Republican Party, the party that now tells you that you must wear a mask, the party that is sending around brownshirts to close down businesses that do not do their king's bidding? Why are you supporting a political party that would do such a thing? Because they are better than the Democrats? How? It is the Ohio Republican Party that is forcing you to wear the mask. It is the Ohio Republican Party that is allowing the creation of a brownshirt goon squad to enforce their king's mandates. How would the Democrats be worse in this matter? Will you vote for a corrupt and useless Republican because that is somehow better than voting for anyone else? How long will you remain a useful idiot for the Ohio Republican Party?

If you are mad about the mask mandates and government brownshirt goon squads, just remember, the Ohio Republican Party owns that. And the Ohio Republican Party enforces it. How long will you continue to elect them?

I voted for Trump for president, but I will not vote for any Republican for any state office in Ohio. The Ohio Republican Party is completely corrupt; they are of the deep state; they are useless in upholding Constitutional rights, they do not respect or uphold conservative values; they do not represent me as a conservative. I will not be useful idiot for them. Will you?

With few exceptions, your current Ohio state Representative and your current Ohio state Senator need to be gone. They need to be replaced. It does not matter if they are Republicans. Our current Ohio Republican representatives are the problem, not the solution. What have they done to stop emperor Dewine? For nearly 8 months they have done nothing. THEY are why we have mask mandates and THEY are why we now have government brownshirt goon squads roving Ohio suppressing freedom. The Ohio Republican Party owns this.

Update 2022: Okay, now tell me why I should vote for Republicans. Yes, the Democrats are destroying the United States. But the Republicans are accomplices. I see no reason to vote for them. They have shown they are NOT the solution. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans will save our Republic. We need them both gone. We need new political parties that actually care about the people instead of just maintaining their position in the swamp that is The Elitist Ruling Class. Change my mind...
