Where Did The Money GO? A Leadership Lesson

Where Did The Money GO? A Leadership Lesson

I am doing a little office cleaning during this downtime and I came across a great article written by Joe Jenkins - most of you wouldn't have a clue who he is but once you read this you will not forget him.

At first read you may think that this is about The Great Game of Business and Open Book Management...and you would be right as that is the foundation of the article.

Look beyond the words and you will see this is really about Leadership and Vision for your company or department. We are practicing this philosophy and it is not a flavor of the month - this is a total change in a way a company works.

What Joe is really pointing out is if the Leadership of the company becomes lax then the next thing that you know you are in the bar ditch - not a good place to be.....enough of my rambling....here is the article

I still remember listening to Joe tell us this story...a very funny guy!- but he brought out how easy is it for us to stray once we think that we have arrived....the best of the best companies don't stray from the basics that got them to where they are!

What did you learn from reading this?

Thanks to the GGOB group for letting me share this!
