Where is the best place to work?

Where is the best place to work?

In the office, at home, at a community space or the local library? What is right for you?

The question facing many business people is where should / could my team be working? What we have discovered is that a one size fits all approach is unlikely to win the hearts and minds of your people.

Like other business leaders, we have been navigating the new way of work. For many, work is something we do rather than somewhere we go.

In this edition, we've launched the Experience of Work white paper – which includes The BRG six-point framework on the experience of work. Our people are our brand and corporate culture is even more difficult as teams work from home. I’ve included the link to the launch for my community.

I took a ‘pitch’ challenge and share the video of me ‘pitching’ RedBalloon to a start-up group. #sharkpitch

Also, I reflect that whilst parties might be out these holidays, celebrating the end of year with your employees is important and I share some ideas of what RedBalloon is doing as an alternative.

There are big questions facing all businesses – will people return to the office regularly? How can we celebrate and thank people for this unusual year? What we know is that every business is different, and as such, we have many varied ways of helping other businesses.

My job continues to be to support and promote local businesses. And one of the ways that I do this is through the community of experience partners that we have at RedBalloon. Remember that when you buy from RedBalloon you are supporting a local business.

I personally agree with this! Being an entrepreneur being able to work anywhere and anytime was one of the greatest benefits outsourcing has helped me and not only that it made my business grow faster!
