API short for Auta Pro Invalidy – in Czech – meaning vehicles for the disabled. Our mission is to help as many people as possible with their mobility. The continuous strive to provide better quality solutions led to one of the most important milestones that had a significant impact on API’s development. It is the invention of FlexiRamp?. This has completely changed the market standards, making us market leaders in WAV product design and development. ??

API’s inception can be traced back to a life turning event when Miroslav Batros’s (founder & CEO) friend had gotten a brain stroke rendering his left side of his body completely paralyzed. Miroslav began looking for a solution for his friend to get him back to an active life of which driving was a significant part of. Eventually he was able to find all the necessary equipment he needed and converted his car.

“This was my first involvement in the world of disabled. Later on I left my job and established API and dedicated myself to this job” said Miroslav.?

In 2003 he established API, with the philosophy of providing disabled people with quality solutions that help them with their mobility and independence. We strive to keep our leading position through continuous product innovations, quality service, and support.
