#WhenIwas15: Happy Birthday Linkedin

#WhenIwas15, while I was passing by the toughest part of my academic career adjusting to a new social network in real life, Mr Hoffman was trying one of the first online social network of the world. After shifting from English Medium education to the national curriculum, my education faced a massive hickup.

Meanwhile, #WhenIwas20 Hoffman was firefighting Paypal, I innovated a new payment method by paying the taxi driver with mobile recharge. #WhenIwas25, Hoffman became the Executive Chairman of the largest professional network, Linkedin and I only started thinking of being the best marketing specialist within the country's professional network.

#WhenIwas30, Linkedin already reached 200 countries and I could only travel 3.

#WhenIwillBe35 by the end of the year, Linkedin will still remain one of my favorite source of information but the maturity level of the site is losing everyday. There must be some innovation that brings more light to the the largest professional brand.

Some of the key features would be -

• Adding corporate events from company pages
• Recommend someone for a certain job
• Be the clouded solution for all the HR work relevant to their employee (This will increase authenticity and number of users)
• Provide direct email id to send mails directly to Linkedin inbox
• Live Meeting Solution
• Separate SlideShare to two brands - PowerShare (a sharing platform) and SlidePoint (Live Presentation) in association with Microsoft Powerpoint
• Collaborate with Microsoft Office and incorporate them on the site for premium users at a discounted price

#WhenIwas15, I always loved attending birthdays but enjoyed more when I was invited to help decorate the place and make it more happening. Happy Birthday, Linkedin. Thank you for connecting me with more than 10,000 (ten thousand) people.
