When we are in the throes of running our businesses, we have to be mindful of how we are spending our time. I know it's easy to be sitting at your laptop one minute working on something productively and the next distracted by an incoming email.
Think about this, when you spend your day working, what do you actually enjoy doing? And on the opposite end of the spectrum, what do you dread? For most of us we are quick to jump into the tasks we enjoy but often procrastinate the things we don't.
When you think of the list of things that you procrastinate on, what are your top 3? If you're not sure, that's okay too!
Maybe this list of pain points as part 2 of our series will help you determine what stands out for you.
Lead Generation: Having a steady stream of leads coming into your business is an important part of growing your client base and income. Unfortunately, in a world filled with technology and social media, it can be hard to stand out in the crowd. Consistently generating leads is a process that requires commitment and time that many business owners don't have but is a necessity if you want to be successful.
Lead Magnet Creation: Growing your email list is a great way to nurture leads that may not be ready to commit yet, to share valuable insights with your audience and create rapport. Those in your email list are considered warm leads and as you know warm leads are the ones more likely to commit to working with you.
Business Organization: Many business owners spend hours per week just looking for the files or resources they need. When your business isn't organized it quickly becomes unproductive and frustrating. Business organization can look like implementing online booking, improving your onboarding procedures, automating your follow up processes and more.

Speaking Up: For some entrepreneurs, speaking is on their list of goals. When you begin the process of prepping to speak it can be tricky to know where to start. Writing your talk should always be a top priority if you're serious about speaking to grow your business. The world needs to hear your ideas!
Staying Ahead Online: Staying ahead on social media is incredibly challenging as a business owner. Understanding the algorithm isn't as simple as it used to be. Posting times, preferred content, audience insights, and more are all part of the challenge - a challenge most business owners don't have time to face on their own.
