Today, we’re talking about feeling stuck—about those unfortunate moments in life when things don’t go as planned. Maybe it's your teenager's attitude that's causing frustration, and you find yourself thinking, "This is not great!" You’re not loving your life right now. Perhaps something unfair is happening—maybe you're being undermined at work, or as an entrepreneur, you're not landing the contracts you'd hoped for.Watch the video or read the full article to know more.
Change is hard, especially when you're trying to implement something new. Maybe you're dealing with a situation that feels like hell, and it’s overwhelming. You could be going through grief—whether it's the loss of a loved one or someone who is still alive, such as after a divorce or a broken friendship. Even good things can become overwhelming, like the sheer stress of a heavy workload, making everything feel like too much to handle.
Whatever is causing you to feel like you’re going through hell, there is good news: Sir Winston Churchill once said, “If you are going through hell, keep going.”
Why does that make sense? Because if you’re in a tough spot, the only way out is forward. Chances are, there’s light at the end of the tunnel, and the key to getting there is to keep moving.
The brain doesn’t operate the same way when we feel stuck. It processes positive and negative information differently, and it takes a lot more energy to handle negative experiences. Your brain spends more time on negative information, which means it tends to stay with you longer. As a result, if you don’t keep moving, you might get trapped in that negative loop.
When you stop moving forward and bury your head in the sand, pretending the problem doesn’t exist, your brain continues to produce cortisol—the stress hormone—and this keeps you stuck. You may smile and tell yourself, "Everything is okay," but deep down, the cortisol keeps you locked in the same emotional state.

Doing something, anything, about your situation can help break this cycle. That’s why it’s so important to keep moving. If you stay stuck, your brain will continue producing cortisol, leaving you in the same spot.
