When you feel like a NOBODY going NOWHERE!
It is so easy to fall into the trap of feeling sorry for yourself especially in these difficult times. But what we need to get to grips with is that no amount of self-pity is going to place us in a better position than we find ourselves in right now. We need to replace our self-pity, disappointments, disillusionments, and dissatisfactions with purposeful pursuits of valuable information that will turn our situations around, cause us to be filled with confidence again and help us out of the position we find ourselves in. In seeking God and His instructions for our lives we can not only face the challenges that come against us, but we can also overcome them with ease, knowing that our God is able to bring us through, no matter what the adversity is!
Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me, declares the LORD.”
At a time when you feel like everything is out of your control. No matter how hard you try to get things right, they end up wrong. No matter how much effort you put into trying to get those around you to understand you and know what you are trying to accomplish, all you get is misunderstanding and accusations. The more you try to bring peace into the situations of your life, the more you end up in conflict and disharmony. That is the right time to hand everything over to the Lord of your life. He made you, He put your life together, He breathed into you and caused you to live, is He not capable of restoring you to perfection once again? He came to this earth and died so that you can be free from sin and so that you can walk free from sin with Him for all eternity, would He just abandon you now?

The Scripture points out to us that it is the devil who is the accuser of the brethren. He is the one who is running around trying to unsettle our lives and cause us to live in desperation. We need to settle down and place our hope and trust in the God of our salvation. He saved us, He brought us out of darkness into this marvelous light, He can certainly lead us through the valley of the shadow of death, so we should fear no evil because He is with us, even when we feel like we are all alone! God’s Word tells us that He will never leave us neither will He forsake us. This is His Word and that stands above every feeling, every opinion, every human advice we can get. Know that when God says something, He is sure to do it, because He is not a man that He should lie!
Well, what do I do when I feel so helpless and lost? When all hell seems to break loose around me! When even the smallest problem turns out to be the biggest catastrophe! Stop, drop all your trying and rest in His arms. Cast all your cares upon the Lord because He cares for you. Forget about the problems of your life and get down on your knees and consult with your heavenly Father. Tell Him that you have handed the problems of your life over to Him. Ask Him for His peace that passes understanding to fill your heart and mind. Put a smile back on your face, a bounce in your step, confidence in your actions and humility to your attitude and leave the rest to the Lord Jesus Christ. And just like Job, you will once again arise from the ashes of your life to live a life that is overcoming, fill of His blessings, restored in every aspect of life and willing to be a blessing to all who are in need. God can turn a nobody who is going nowhere into somebody who cares!
