WHEN WE WAIT ON THE LORD AND FOLLOW HIS PATH, HE WILL HONOUR US!
The Passage, ‘There is trouble ahead if we go on…’ (Acts 27:10), reminds us of the fact that, when we allow ourselves to become impatient like the crew of the ship docked at the island of Crete who failed to take Paul’s advice not to leave harbour, allow loneliness to drive us into the arms of the wrong person or make financial decisions without first consulting with God, we end up in a storm akin to a debt which then takes us years to pay back. In other words, we end up living a lifetime of misery. So let the knowledge that: 1) A no from God is simply Him saying, ‘Not now’; 2) What He has in store for us is worth waiting for; 3) He always does a work of preparation within us to equip us for what He has in mind for us; and 4) When we wait on the LORD and follow His path, He will honour us; teach you, each morning, to say a word of praise and thereafter, step out in faith!FG.
