WHEN WE TELL OURSELVES THERE IS NO WAY WE ARE GOING TO MAKE IT, WE HAVE DENTED OUR ARMOUR AND UNDERMINED OUR EFFECTIVENESS!

The passage, ‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God’ (Isaiah 41:10 NKJV), reminds us that, fear is fertilised by words, not just those uttered by others, but those we keep on saying to ourselves and because it is the enemy of greatness and the antithesis of faith, it will eventually rob us of our creativity and self-worth, and the longer it lives inside us, the stronger it grows. In other words, it will keep weighing us down with the responsibility of feeling like we must constantly look out for, protect and defend ourselves. So let the knowledge that: 1) A promise from God’s Word that is as true today as it was when He first spoke it is that, we should not fear, for He is with us; 2) When we tell ourselves there is no way we are going to make it, we have dented our armour and undermined our effectiveness; and 3) If we let it fester, fear will affect us like a plague and to overcome it, we must keep working to identify and expose it; teach you, when something scares you, to stand up to it, from within and without!FG. www.fgtalks.com
