The passage, ‘Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them’ (Romans 12:6 NKJV), reminds us that, like Paul who spoke five languages and wrote half the New Testament, but constantly had to struggle with what he refers to as a ‘thorn in the flesh’, God gives each of us certain gifts, and the grace to use them, but when we are not operating in our area of giftedness, we struggle. In other words, we need grace in the areas of our gifting and grace for those areas in which we are not gifted at all. So let the knowledge that: 1) God’s Grace is sufficient for any challenge that we might face; 2) For as long as we live, we will soar in some areas and struggle in others; and 3) When we pray and ask Him to remove some things from our lives and He says no, it is because His strength is made perfect in weakness; teach you, to keep that in mind each time you see a great achiever or as you strive to become one yourself!FG. www.fgtalks.com
