When Warmth Stands Out

Winter came incredibly early this year...and the images of the cold are imprinted in our minds all too soon...

Whipping winds and snow

Faces covered with scarves and eyes just peering out...

Tailpipes blowing out white smoke

Frost on the windshield

People standing on the street corner, shuffling to keep warm, blowing into their hands

A question comes to mind as I try to grip with how to turn this all into a positive:

What better time to bring warmth...than when it is biting cold?

The warmth of a smile and a hello

A patient extra effort to hold a door

A phone call to say thank you or good luck

A short text or note of encouragement to someone who needs it

Bring warmth...especially now.

That is one way to separate yourself from the pack.
