When things do not go as planned, it is important to have a backup solution

We humans are experts in planning and planning, despite this, not everything goes as we have intended. Unforeseen things happen, for better or worse. Therefore, it is important to be flexible and handle unforeseen changes and have devised several alternative races.
So, things did not go as planned, and what do we do now? Be patient and calm. Know that the situation can get better and there are alternatives. By learning to adapt, we can feel more in control. Take the next steps to find out options available outside of the original plans. Avoid dwelling on what went wrong and focus on how you can change things for the better.
Dwight Eisenhower said, "planning is everything, the plan is nothing".
As I always tell my wife; "We must let go of the life we have planned, for when one door closes another open and we must be ready to grab the new opportunities that arise". Life happens and it is not always about us. We must master handling the unexpected. Life does not always go the way that we want it to and that is a fact. It is one of the hard things in life: accepting that life sometimes does not go as planned.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts, things just do not work out the way we anticipated and planned. And, in these situations, it is easy to let the circumstances dictate our mood. It is normal to get frustrated and irritable when thing does not go as plan. But it is important to not waste energy on people or a situation you cannot do anything with.
Instead of getting stuck in a situation, turn around and find out what you can do something about. Grab the things you can do something about. One thing is that a door closes, but then a new door opens, and it is about daring to go through the new door. Often new opportunities come on the assembly line, we just must open and go through the new door. Then it is about being ready and open to welcome these new opportunities as we walk through the new door. We need to realise this and reverted to our strategy for ‘when things don’t go to plan’ to get our mind back on track.

For my own life, I have experienced many times when a door is closing, a new one opens with many more possibilities that I ever could have dreamt about. It is importance that we take time to put things into perspective.
-?????????Target obstacles.
-?????????Focus on the goal at hand.
-?????????Find the good in the situation.
-?????????This will pass.
In life, as we know, things pass. Situations resolve themselves one way or another. Keeping this in mind is helpful as it allows us to go back to focusing on the bigger picture and not leave everything else aside while this crisis is happening.
