"When the student is ready..."

"When the student is ready..."

One of our Inner Circle member sent the following:

“When people say, “perception is reality,” they often mean that the way we perceive something makes it real. What if we don’t perceive an issue, challenge, or lesson to be learned, simply because it is invisible to us?

As a student, we must first see a situation and determine that there is value, opportunity, or benefit in it. Only then is there the potential to hear the teacher and see how they might assist us in understanding the lesson.”

With it was the quote - “When the Student is Ready, the Teacher Appears.” ——Gautama Buddha

This conversation created perhaps the most responses from our members in a long time. One of my responses was:

Actually we are learning subconsciously all the time, acquiring bits and pieces and parsing them, assimilating them, and while I love the quote, it's just more you know...BS [Blank Slate]

One more "sticky" (ing) point and "perception is reality" only if you believe reality consists of perceptions...

[Warning : DIATRIBE AHEAD]

Perception is reality @BS because BS pays lip service to our fickle narrow naive ego nature and then behind the scenes pays close attention to our human nature at the primal, subconscious levels.

So to get us to smoke, they make it "cool" and the perception of reality, depending on your perception, is basically cool.., AND "death and taxes!"

Perception is reality because we are ensconced in our own bias.

Outside of that, perception is not reality at all and it's through efforts to understand why perception is NOT reality where postmodern leadership unfurls.

This is why so many people hate TRUMP, because their perception of him, how he talks, and describes his perception of things is at odds with society's PC algorithms.

They don't stack up all the rest of the world’s leaders -- which they have no perception of -- and realize like XXX*...sometimes you have to send in your own snake!

Are the 1% who "rule" the world more like TRUMP or someone else

Everything going forward is going to be 1%.

No, I disagree, perception is not reality, but if you are going to get someone to buy something you best cater to their Perception...and that's not the same thing (category) as reality. ;-)

I read Brook's column in the NYT today but more so, I also read a number of the comments to get a flavor of perception... and in large part, underneath it all, people expect the future to be an extension of the past.

TRUMP WOULD REGRESS things, and unfortunately that's exactly what we need.

We don't need "TEAL "self-managing" organizations, which ignore "human nature" and lack scalability. And depend on heightened awareness and raising of consciousness!

Give me a break.

Look around you!

Are you or anyone else demonstrating higher consciousness?

You might see people who value that, but no one is making anything like that work anywhere there wasn't already a pot boiling!

What we are facing, as a result of the overshoot in the current BS paradigm, things like "monetary collapse", sovereign debt crisis, global war, and a host of other wild cards sitting on the edge of the table.

This is not a doomsday scenario, this is the reality of a major paradigm shift and that's just reality... the perceptions will come.

So do we need our own snake?

Do we need our own 1%er or are we going to continue to put "their" people in place to "spin" the world and our perceptions?

It's worth a perception?
