When a Small Group Hurts the Entire Community...

This is from a friend, who is a life-long resident of the Big Island:
Heard there’s a message circulating via Facebook, Twitter or some other social media from some TMT protesters to boycott KTA--which provides generous monetary and food donations to all schools and many organizations on our island. I find it totally sad and distasteful that they are escalating their protest to hurt their fellow citizens, while claiming they protest with Aloha. Denying summit workers (maintenance and astronomers) the right to fulfill their occupational duties is a violation of their individual rights and not pono.
I am beginning to lose respect for this movement. They are not willing to listen nor comprise their stance (sounds like the "bipartisanship" occurring in Congress). It’s their way only, regardless of the effect on community and humanity.
