When should you start preparing?

One of the most frequent queries is "When should I start preparing for university," which is frequently followed by "Am?I Late?" When exactly should we have started? When should the application process for prestigious universities begin? and "What are our odds if we don't have any relevant profiles?" These are valid inquiries, and I will address them immediately.

How early is too early? is the other quadrant I want to outline. This question has been posed to all education counsellors at some point or another. What then is the response -?Grades 10,?Grade 9 or earlier? 5th grade or younger?

What are the best placards to use for a 3-month-old, I've also been asked. A perplexed me, searched for a paediatrician to respond to that. The response, "Tch-Tch," pretty well said it all. There is a scientific idea that we learn even as embryos, an idea that is also confirmed by the Mahabharata. Who is to say whether or not it is appropriate for parents to initiate learning?as soon as possible? A word of caution—in my professional experience, stress and concern can lead to irreparable?damage. Thus,?I recommend that parents encourage overall development rather than a singular focus on the?university. An excellent overall development makes an excellent candidate for universities. Which brings us back to the relevant question – When is the ideal time to begin preparing for University?

We must determine the HOW to understand the WHEN. When to start is a key factor in how we prepare. Determine what the colleges require, then create a solid schedule and make every effort to follow it. It would help if you prepared as?most universities—, ALL universities—are searching for a worthy applicant. Your school journey and application must reflect?y our excellence and willingness to take on challenges to?support your candidature.?An extract from the University of Michigan states the following-

A student must develop "The Whole Package" outside of the classroom. When does this planning begin? Rome wasn't created overnight! And your profile won't be either!

Hence, start developing abilities as soon as possible. Every ability and quality will be significant. If you want to succeed in athletics, aim to achieve excellence so that it will show in your application for higher education. In their portfolio, art students must demonstrate their dexterity and creativity, which requires consistent time and effort. The majority of the time, academic performance is the key, so make sure that your academic trajectory, particularly from grade 9 onwards, follows a desirable trajectory and corresponds to the standard required by the university.

Together with your education counsellor,?create a successful roadmap and determine the "Skill Gap." The gaps vary as per the career and course choice thus the roadmap ought to be unique and focused. To determine the best period for skill development and to specify the level of competency needed, you must prepare a "Skill Development Plan" with your chosen counsellor.

How early is too early? I want to stress again, being early is important without being unrealistic and expecting your 8-year-old to read books in pursuit of MBBS. I feel that ninth grade is almost the right place to start. Begin with the notions of 'Growth Mindset' which enables the students to 'Making School Count'.

Focus on developing your skills, especially those that are listed as essential life skills for everyone, such as communication skills, time management, grit and tenacity, and more.

A person's journey towards education starts the moment they are born. Success is something we must work for and is not something that comes to us naturally. Effort makes one smart and successful, So begin today!
