When Should You Make a Counteroffer?

Once you make an offer on the home, the fun begins. It’s not uncommon for home sellers to make counteroffers to buyers for several reasons. The most common is price, but inspections, closing dates, and more can all be countered by a seller. They may also want to shorten inspection or appraisal time frames in their counteroffer.
