WHEN A RELIGION SAYS NO NO

With the rise of the Arab nations conquering the Romans with the eventual triumph over Constantinople they had learned the lesson over how Christianity had managed to tie many differing clans together and thought this was a good idea. Religion worked, since you might have one country or clan leader opposed to another but if there was some supreme God calling the shots from above, all you needed was a Pope on your side to interpret God's will and how much to pay in tithes.
Hence starting with Christianity which seemed to have worked well for a considerable time it was a question to conveniently copy the model and include Jesus as a prophet. Good also leaving out the silly unlikely bits only added later at the Conclave in Ethiopia that Jesus was at the same time God who on an occasion had popped down from heaven to impregnate Mary. But they left in the prophet status while bringing in Mohamed as the last and final one. Having seen how Jesus had a few flaws such as a God/Jesus not knowing the life cycle of a fig tree, it was a brilliant idea to say how Mohammed as a final messenger should not be challenged in any way.
The Islamists coming in later had the opportunity to learn from Christianity's mistakes modeling more on normal human animal behaviour allowing parenting with women as soon as they were able, while permitting as many wives as a man could afford. Many of these things made logical sense at the time with so many men slaughtered in useless wars leaving women and children to be looked after. The recognition of man's lecherous subconscious might have been carried a bit far when ruling only women could lay out and wash female cadavers unless there were none available. The modesty and coverup of feminine temptation again went well with the times along with the serious punishments for transgression.

The number of times for daily prayers might be argued as have been misunderstood when Mohammed had to negotiate how many times were required but nothing better than to remind men they only have a passing passage on earth and drunkenness just wastes time.
But of course the coup de gras was the law which forbid Apostacy bringing with it the death sentence just as Australian aboriginals violating tribal customs have the group bone pointed at them to wonder off into the wilderness to die. Which forced dedication shows how the figures of Islam have overtaken Christianity and continue to rise although a long way behind in 1900. As the figures grow overwhelming Christianity it will get even harder for anyone to opt out since humans continue their insecurity and no matter what, secretly continue to find the answers to the questions, why are we here and where are we going? Can then one religion live alongside another? Perhaps the suggested answer is NO...
