When to Quit on Money

Getting rich is not something you finish.  

What do I mean by that?

A lot of people have a number in their minds…a target if you will, of what dollar amount they need to be “set”.

And while it’s true a certain dollar amount can give you a certain amount of financial freedom, it’s not the end goal.

Getting richer is about increasing your influence and impact.

How much can you help the world?

Bill Gates does amazing things for charity, and if his portfolio continues to grow, he can do even more for the world and the fight against poverty.

In fact, as long as there are problems in the world, you need more money to help solve those problems.

The only time you won’t need MORE money is when there are no more problems in the world.

Now, let’s count just a few of the problems:

#1 Poverty.

Included under this umbrella is a lack of funding for high-quality education and funds for clean water and good food to be more available to some of the poorest of the poor.

#2 Health Issues.

Until there is a cure for things like ALS, cancer, and other diseases, there will be need of more money for research. 

#3 Innovation.

Money invested means more opportunity for new ideas, projects, and inventions to make our life better. Just look at how airplanes and computers can change our lives for the better. You can Facetime with your mom in Michigan while living in California. While people can complain about new technologies, there’s no arguing they benefit people in many ways.

So, stop thinking about just a million dollars, or $5 million, or even $50 million.

It’s all relative, but the point is, when you reach a certain dollar amount, don’t begin to feel like you have enough.

At the time when you feel YOU have enough is not the point when you quit.

Keep pushing for more because you can SOLVE more problems in the world!

Getting wealthy goes BEYOND just you.

That’s why getting wealthy is NOT something you quit on.

The more money you earn, the more options you have to help solve problems in this world.

Bill Gates has more money than you—hence, he can solve more problems than you can.

That’s not to say he’s “better” than you—but he does have the resources to DO more than you.

So don’t quit financially, whether you have $2 million, $20 million, or even $1 billion…

Don’t quit!
