When personal ethics mean so much

Recently, I was involved in an argument regarding a TV programme. The reality is that both sides felt there were differences of opinion which were not going to change and then I felt although 18 months of good work could potentially be in jepoardy my feelings were not to continue the process. I have no anamousity towards the other side and I believe it is a shame it has happened, but at least personally, I know my conscience is clear and my personal values embraced and kept.
