When Is Our Perspective Getting In The Way of Our Reality

When people say that perspective is reality...I agree. But I like to always try to come from my own place and vision. Instead of wondering where others perception is false, where are we doing a disservice to ourselves by living in a false reality? When is my perspective skewing reality? Obviously, quite often.

Here, I share a quick story about my first days in Marine Corps boot camp. My reality got shaken up a little and it was a great lesson. I found myself believing something about my bunk mate. It wasn't exactly true but I formed a quick opinion about him and it brought me to a reality that wasn't what I expected.
