Richard Harris asked me to become his biographer in 1989. The 2022 film The Ghost of Richard Harris, of which I am an associate producer, in which I appear and which uses my taped interviews with Richard to voice the 'ghost,' was a gratifying experience, to a degree. But the book sets the tapes in context and is infinitely more detailed. It is really inspiring when even one reader "gets" it as this gentleman, Charles Williams, obviously does.
