9 个月Only 3-4% in India, 30% in the US, almost 30% in China, and 36% in ROW. India certainly has the potential but it's not their yet.

1 年Moreover, testing of medicines is necessary before they can be used on a large scale. So now that the medicine and pharma industry in India is growing, then it is natural that part of the testing work should be done in India. If we want our medicine and pharma industry to grow, then we have to encourage human testing in the country. There is no other way.

1 年I belive this person is wrong. He is overestimating the Indian context. Go to any medicine shop in India. 90% of the most popular medicines have been researched, tested and manufactured in the Western countries. It is only in the last 30 years that testing started in South Asia and Africa. But less than 3% of the testing is being done outside the Western countries.
