It is heartwarming to see those Muslim women take lead roles in global companies or achieve global recognition and positions...
Dr Hessa Al Jaber former Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Qatar, will be the first woman to represent Qatar on the supervisory board of an international group, Volkswagen!
Muhterem Aras has been elected in the German state parliament as a speaker. She is the first Muslim woman to be elected to Germany's parliament. She won by a significant majority, saying “We wrote history today.”
US fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad is one of TIME's most influential people. She will be the first American in hijab at the Olympics.
Last year, 31-year-old British Muslim chef, columnist, and author, Nadiya Hussain, won the sixth series of BBC’s The Great British Bake Off, making her the first ever Muslim to win the competition. Hussain has now stepped into royal boundaries. She has been selected to bake the Queen’s birthday cake for her upcoming 90th birthday celebration.
Congratulations to all these ladies!
