WHEN MENTOR BECOME TORMENTOR!

In Indian mythology, we learnt that a student’s misconduct was evident to his mentor but out of his fervor he ignored it, rather indulged with affection and exonerated him from such gross misdemeanor. His indulgence was an example that being a favored student of him, he was entitled to enjoy such privilege and could be excused with an iota of guilt. This phenomena is still persisting not only in India but across the world.

Even in modern age, when we notice a recalcitrant approach from a student who is favored by his mentor, being safeguarded by him shamelessly. This evident discrimination has redefined “Fervor” too! It clearly reflects about the hegemony of the teaching fraternity who too perhaps belong from same culture and how they are causing detriment to the entire student fraternity itself. Instead of using their hands and brains for the betterment of the prevailing society, they are brazenly causing harm not only to the student fraternity, but also to the available society we are living. It is clearly evident that they are indulging to divide society with “Yes” or “No” in terms of the mentor fraternity’s evaluation and defaming their own fraternity altogether.

Unfortunately, poor and mediocre students and not getting enough scope to thrive by virtue of such vile discrimination and cannot rise to the height of success as majority of them cannot afford to have the mentors of premium value and just being clouded with sheer despondence.

Being at the helm, the privileged few are causing huge disaster to the entire student fraternity who are deprived from any fervor or favor from their mentors. Are mentors should not be equally held responsible for the detriment they cause to the human resources as a whole?

As a result of it, such mediocre people reaching at the zenith by the biased blessings of few mentors. The fall out of it will be surely ignominious. They are only focusing on wealth, ignoring in what exchange they are acquiring it. Their earned revenue are their only strength out of which they dare to express their arrogance and caprice. These student fraternity, despite their numbers are meager, their brazen manifestations of wealth and pomp is an ugly dispensation of their inherent trait. Some of them are even drop out students, unable to complete the traditional education system and heralding a system to ruin many from their entitled knowledge acquiring mechanism. They are capable to devise a strategy to hypnotize many by their innovative skills and majority are hoodwinked by their instant dazzling dispensation, unable to differentiate between original gold and imitation. They are utterly marooned by those brazen, mundane wealth and comfort loving genre, who has garnered wealth enormously as a first generation businessman, which is a distinct feature of this modern era we are living. They devastated the traditional value system with their short time goal achieving mechanism and capable to ruin the existing system with a new model which they claim as “Disruption”!

I wonder about their mentors, who are no longer surfaced for their achievements to promote such new genre and perhaps smirking for majority’s plight!

Perhaps, it is high time to ponder about the pantheon of education which alone can enable progress and prosperity for human civilization with humane values. Out of technological achievements we can acquire huge information as well misinformation by our finger tips, but can we down load bread which we desperately need to survive?? Rather, can we make impediments to myriad, not even acquire bread out of our favored technology for few?? We must not forget about the rhetoric of Queen Antoinette’s famous quote, “If people are not getting bread, tell them to go for cake”, which eventually followed a bloodshed revolution.

Equally since Industrial Revolution, we are experiencing numerous changes in our social fabric and it too silently paving the way for another upside down developments to emerge for few frantic that hardly care for majority’s betterment. They are forcing majority to taste the bitter aspect by the name of “Development” what they have initiate in terms of their own devise only to garner huge profits for them. They are nowadays forcing majority people to taster the bitter taste of developments and majority are becoming the worst victims of their fancy and unable to adapt with the abrupt change they are ushering. Few eccentrics are sadly controlling the world economy and its intense form is manifested by politics of revenge and disharmony and chaos, which we majority are experiencing and paying the price for which we may eventually at the brink of another Great War, the war of acquiring absolute control of market and promote hegemony of few., resulting perhaps many to go into oblivion.

Their tactful act to show us a path to go to hell in such a fashion that we impel to look forward for such dreadful journey, assuming it may bring solace to majority with envisaging that it will finally beckon our own jeopardy.

I wonder to observe the mentor class who are silent and indulging their few favored students to go for astray for the majority of students fraternity! We forgot that war without bloodshed is considered as politics and politics is war full of bloodshed. This war may bring benefit to both sides to evolve of human race, but in what expense and how far it can serve humanity, is the main question we need to ponder in this present hour.

After all, we must not forget that in “Hour”, “H” is silent, but it alone can herald “Our” with due gravity to establish a regime of peace and prosperity and for the betterment of majority.
