Let's get a grip on the topic

Should machines teach, take decisions, develop leadership qualities? Why or why not? Also it is obvious that, when and wherever humans are costlier than machines, humans will be replaced, as economics is indispensable to both the remaining humans and their masters. 

For now, AI and ML has come to stay in all spheres. The question is how long will it take for these systems to take control over an ever evolving human intelligence of mankind and its requirements? How far are we going to be influenced by these changes?

All over the world people are facing the onslaught of MI (machine intelligence), hope you recollect your encounters with Alexa, Siri, Google assistant and their half-brothers with fuzzy logic? For now, they would all fail the Turing's test for AI. But may not fail in future, for AI will win and fail again and again in an endless cycle. 

Why AI and ML cannot thrive beyond a point?

Coming straight to the most related point on unemployment due to technological surges, the fears of the machines taking over this planet will always remain a myth for two reasons: 1. Inability to map everything and 2. Ability of Protectors for Mankind.

All those who think or deliberate on this subject should be fair and look at all sides of this "subject coin".

Inability to map everything

1. Emotions such as cognitive dissonance, ulterior transactions are difficult to decipher, if not it is next to impossible to map unpredictable emotions into the inference engines or interfaces. Why? Simple truth, Human intelligence - HI is an open system. It is not a chess board which is a closed system with fixed rules for Deep Blues to defeat Grand masters.

Even if the above point is proved false, and all emotions are mapped, it would only be temporary and probably help the champions of AI gloat over for few years, and also tempt the media to spread fears among the people about their lesser intelligence being overrun by MI.

Again why temporarily? Alright, let us imagine and say in future they do map all emotions and their derivatives just like the scientist Rajini-Vasi in the movie Endhiran; And unlike emotions, it is impossible to map Karmas. Emotions are ruled and controlled by Karmas and I think most of you would agree with this thought, so herein ends all points of arguments on the above topic.

It is well known that, Karma is an eternal bitch [ Bearing information in timeless consciousness hierarchy] [I don't mind substituting the B for Boson Higg's] and this bitch is impossible to comprehend. 

On other levels, yes it is possible for machines to replace humans in all those work areas which are closed systems and with very high predictability levels, but replacement is not so easy with the open systems having high unpredictability levels. And, considering long-run cost of workforce maintenance, error free job outputs, these machines would most certainly replace human work force at all their respective levels. Such results are inevitable, in the next 30 to 40 years and the signs of such replacement and unemployment are clearly visible even today.

Ability of Protectors for mankind

2. The second and final reason why intelligent machines will not be able to take over in running this planet is because of the Protectors and Gate keepers of this civilized world. They most certainly would not want these machines to overrun human intelligence in decision making at vital and important levels. Why? Because losing or sharing control to another entity and that too created by us, can never become a human acceptance or a reality, akin to nature.

Is it not the same case with Nature or with the God particle? As humans we have a certain degree of control over ourselves, we share a certain degree of control over nature, but absolute control over the nature or universe? impossible right? If you argue saying it is possible in the next 100 to 400 years, then I have a simple question for you, for now, with all our sophisticated powers of intelligence, can we produce water by bringing hydrogen and oxygen elements together without a small bang? Yes ..? No right! Probably this could only become possible if our scientists are able to harness the God particle, till then Neutrino will remain a dream.

Why is it so?

The conclusion and answer to the above thoughts can be summarized with a single quote from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who was also a graduate of science. "All empirical research has come to a standstill. The inability of science to proceed any further is the grand victory for the scientists". Now, the scientist has to explore within himself to open up new or higher levels of perception and cognition.

Most probably then would emerge a race of super humans coupled with their true AI embedded machines serving their masters.
