When life bucks us off the horse, do we get back up again?

Today is the 15th day of July. The 15th day of our 31 days of July challenge where we learn a new skill or new lesson each day for a better life!

This past weekend, I attended the greatest outdoor show on earth known as the Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada.

Rodeo's have to be one of the best example of, you're going to get thrown around and knocked down in life, but what are you going to do about it?

It's pretty impressive!

The training and competition to keep yourself upright on a bucking bronco or a really angry bull has so many parallels to real life.

How many times have you had a disagreement with a manager or coworker?

How many times has a major item or maybe the entire scope of the project changed?

How many times have you lost a potential client that went in the complete opposite direction?

It's no different from staying on a horse or an angry bull!

So when life throws you around or bucks you off entirely, will you get back up?

Will you dust yourself off?

Will you review what just happened so you can do better next time? ...even if it wasn't your fault?

That's life!

Those who learn early to get back up on the horse in the next round will be more successful than giving up on the first sight of a challenge!

Have you been bucked off (laid off) or thrown around with your finances or job recently?

Grab a time on my calendar below and we'll review what happened and build a plan to make sure you can get back on the horse stronger and more prepared for the next round!
