When was the last time you did sweet FA?

Guiding ambitious women to break free from burnout and a life of mediocrity… To reclaim their zest for life while learning to love themselves so they can confidently embody who they came here to BE.
I learned the hard way how important it is for me to schedule in fun, time out and rest!
I do all of those often and it really has made all the difference to my life.
But this week I realised there was a gap in my self care routine.
I never do nothing. Just pure and simple nothing!
I watch tv occasionally, I read and listen to books often, I see friends and I do yoga.
All very relaxing and enjoyable but they are all ‘doing’ activities that require my mental attention.
This week, for the first time in a really long time I just sat with my thoughts for an hour.
No phone, no book, no music, no anything!
Just me, myself and I.
At first I was a little fidgety as I’m not at all used to not occupying my mind.
But then I felt myself relax and that’s when it got interesting...
I started to explore some really important questions, that for so many of us get little attention!
Where am I in my life versus where I want to be?
Where do I want to be?
Am I taking steps to get there?
What’s holding me back?
What makes me happy?
What makes me unhappy?
What am I afraid of?
I had a great conversation with myself which allowed me to really take stock of how far I’ve come and where I’m going.
Doing sweet FA might seem like a waste of time but I came away from doing nothing with a clear mind and clarity on who I am and what I want.
I’d call that a productive use of time wouldn’t you?
