When I is replaced by we illness becomes wellness

When I is replaced by we illness becomes wellness

World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (illness).” WHO defines wellness as “the optimal state of health of individuals and groups,” and wellness is expressed as “a positive approach to living.” Wellness refers to well-being. This just doesn't simply mean good physical health, but a lot more. It refers to the overall mental, emotional and physical stability of an individual. Wellness is free from mental blocks and self- sabotaging ailments. It is a destination and our entire lifetime, we keep ourselves engaged in endless hustles and we keep evolving in pursuit of overall wellness.

This process isn't static at all and many a times, financial well-being is also associated with wellness. There is no device to gauge wellness…no wellness quotient…and in fact, not required too. Why? This is because wellness is reflected by your actions, your body language, the way you perceive and imbibe things into your system, the values you impart to others, the path and the ray of light you can show to people, your entire aura speaks aloud how wellness-struck positive being you are. Wellness is a virtuous address and everyone should aim to reach there and strike gold by finding peace and satiation.

Illness is everything just in contradiction to the aforesaid points. Illness is Life minus Wellness. Wellness is defined as the state or condition of being in good physical and mental health; Illness is a disease or period of sickness affecting the body or mind. Looking at the spelling of these two words, the letters in common are the ones at the end. Yet what differentiates these two words from one another are the beginning letters – We versus I. Wellness is often achieved by building a community of individuals (the “we”) who can support our health, growth, and strength. Yet when we become individually focused or isolative and do not involve others around us (the “I”), we may be prone to Illness in that our internal focus may lead us astray in terms of our goals.

What does wellness mean to you personally? “Wellness is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” The World Health Organization. Wellness is an active process of awareness and choices for a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from disease, it is a dynamic process of change and growth. Why wellness is important? Maintaining an optimal level of well-being is absolutely essential to living a better quality of life. Well-being matters. Well-being is important because everything we do and every emotion we feel is linked to our well-being. It is a permanent circle. Therefore, it is important for everyone to achieve optimal well-being to manage stress, reduce the risk of disease, and ensure positive interactions.

Achieve wellness by finding the right mix of supports to achieve wellness in our lives is different for each of us. All-inclusive wellness retreats can help achieve wellness by emphasizing the multiple dimensions of the life of the whole person. Individualized wellness plans integrate Eastern and Western philosophies, and naturopathic components address the underlying causes of illness or body-mind imbalance. Optimal well-being is unique to each of us, but the ability to meet our obligations, as well as our dreams, can be a common goal we all share.

By proactively making wellness a priority in life, we are equipped to better manage expected and unforeseen physical illnesses and psychological challenges. Businesses measure well-being in terms of increased productivity, increased innovation and creativity, reduced illness, and absenteeism. In our personal lives, many use words like happiness, increased energy, positive emotions, painless, and peace. When we internalize wellness, we can activate the benefits in everything we do, which in turn spreads to others in our life.

Health:-Health can be thought of as the state of being free from injury or illness. Physical health means living in a body that is strong, capable, and free of disease. Well-being:-If you consult the dictionary, health and well-being might be described as the absence of “negative” things, like mental distress and physical illness. Wellness:-Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits on a daily basis to attain better physical and mental health outcomes, so that instead of just surviving, you're thriving. To understand the significance of wellness, it's important to understand how it's linked to health. Cheers!
