Your #Innermost Shift Determines Your #Success And #Failures
When the tournament began , we faced a very tough opponent in the first game itself and from losing the first set ,
we came back strongly and won 2 vs 1 and reached the final after defeating 3 more teams.
In the finals , I knew the opponent team was the best and had won many tournaments before and they were in full practice regularly .
However ,I had started playing after a long gap and it was just 2 weeks I was into the game .
Like before every match , I was talking to my self –
- How will I dominate the game ,
- Which new shots I play to win over
but before finals though the internal dialogues were same but there was a growing fear of the opponent team as well and rightly so, as I had seen their previous matches , n their margin of wins
Somewhere internally thoughts were also building ,
‘No worries – even if we loose this game , we will still be runners up!’
And exactly my fears started turning into failures,
After the initial lead in the first game, we lost in straight sets to the opponent team.
Well , No matter who you are or what you are doing every person experiences crises, problems and unexpected challenges
The only way to realise your full potential and become capable is by responding to these challenges effectively.
We all face 2 major threats to respond to during crises or problems we face:
- Fear of Failure or
- Fear of Rejection or both
To win over the fear of failure and rejection, your RESPONSE to problems is everything
95% of your emotions, positive or negative, are determined by the way you interpret the things that are happening around you.
In #Nut-Shell
Whether you are giving an interview today or going for a very important negotiation or have failed recently or lost something very precious .
No matter what happens
With every problem you face, there is the seed of an equal or greater benefit or advantage.
When you discipline yourself to look for good in every situation and seek valuable lessons
You learn to remain calm , positive and optimistic . And above all you maintain and build your Self-Esteem.
When you face problems, crisis or unexpected challenges .
Give a minute of yourself –
Close your eyes and take deep breath and visualise your self as calm , confident, relaxed and in complete control.
This will help you to connect to your #inner #knowingness and shift you towards more peace in solving your current problems or unexpected challenges.
Share it , if you like it !
