When I Interviewed Ayushmann Khurrana
"You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone, change begins at the end of your comfort zone"-Roy T. Benett.
The statement holds true in every respect in one's life. It is not about how and where we start, in fact, it is about how we proceed. The same was the sensation I got after interviewing the multi talented personality, Ayushmann Khurrana (Television presenter, actor, singer, video jockey, previously radio jockey, author).
Khurrana was born in Chandigarh to Poonam and P. Khurrana, and studied at St. John’s High School and DAV College in Chandigarh. He majored in English literature and has a master's degree in Mass Communication from School of Communication Studies, Panjab University, in Chandigarh. He did serious Theatre for five years. He was also the founder member of DAV College’s "Aaghaaz" and "Manchtantra", which are active theatre groups in Chandigarh. He has conceptualized and acted in street plays and won prizes in national college festivals like Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay), Oasis (Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani) and St. Bedes Simla. He also won a Best Actor award for playing Ashwatthama in Dharamvir Bharati’s Andha Yug.
The celebrity came to our college, VIT, Vellore as a Chief Guest for the valedictory function (March 5th, 2017) of our University’s international sports and cultural carnival – Riviera 2017 which was packed with scores of fun-filled events and contests. He has been a motivation for many students. But, before writing more, let me tell you what is an interview in my opinion
An interview is not just a matter of conversation, it is the song which has the rhythm of authenticity, clarity and the lyrics of experience. Interviews are meant to know the person and hence motivate others to live a life that can inspire others. The chat spurs the life by giving a message that it is not whom you are supposed to be, but it is you whom you choose to be. Hence timely decisions are necessary to make the life better. And so did the Khurrana.
I felt fortunate enough after meeting and interviewing Ayushmann Khurrana. Please find attached the following link for his interview. Although I may be immature at some places, the positive side is I have a chance to improve and I am improving.
