When I grow Up ????
One thing my kids always say is, "Daddy, when I grow up I want to be..."
The list goes on and on. But one thing all kids have in common is that they want to be a superhero.
So, what exactly is a superhero? According to ChatGPT, a superhero is:
"A fictional character, often depicted in comics, movies, or other media, who possesses extraordinary abilities, powers, or advanced technology that sets them apart from ordinary people. Superheroes typically use their powers to protect the public, fight evil, or uphold justice."
Let’s focus on that last part:
"...use their powers to protect the public, fight evil, or uphold justice."
That sounds a lot like healthcare workers—both clinicians and those in administration.

Healthcare workers help patients fight diseases and battle symptoms. They go to school to gain the "power" to combat the threats of illness. And often, they work with limited resources (like insurance restrictions) yet still find ways to provide quality care for their patients.
Healthcare workers are the "Real Superheroes."
If you’re reading this, you’re likely a healthcare worker, provider, or someone who works alongside them.
Thank you for your dedication to fighting the "evil" of disease! Let’s continue to lift each other up and not tear each other down. We’re in this fight together!
