When and How to Develop a #Startup #ElevatorPitch
What Is an Elevator Pitch
The term "elevator pitch" symbolizes delivering your message in the span of a short elevator ride.
What Makes an Impactful Elevator Pitch
For an elevator pitch to resonate with different stakeholders, it must be short, clear, memorable, and impactful, leaving a lasting impression. A great pitch is concise, intriguing, and shows how your solution effectively addresses a challenge.
When to Develop an Elevator Pitch
I cannot stress enough the hardwork involved in refining a #startupidea to make it pitchready and capturing its essence in an elevator pitch. It is the result of thorough refinement, crafted after your business idea has matured.
Who Should Be Prepared to Pitch
Everybody on the team should master and believe in the elevator pitch and be ready and able to give it at any time.
How to Develop an Elevator Pitch
Here’s how I’ve created my elevator pitches over the years, a strategy that worked every time:

?? List Key Points: Write down the 10 most important things about you, your startup, and your offering.
?? Refine the Content: Remove redundancies, jargon, abbreviations, or unclear information.
?? Highlight Positives: Enhance strengths with supporting facts.
?? Organize on Cards: Use five categories—Who I am, What I do, How I do it, Why I do it, and Who I do it for. Allocate your 10 most important things to your cards, ensuring each card has at least one strong message.
?? Prioritize Information: Arrange the cards by importance. Ensure key points are shared first in case you're interrupted while giving your elevator pitch.
?? Capture Attention: Start with an intriguing fact to hook the listener and create immediate curiosity.
?? Practice and Get Feedback: Test your pitch with people who can provide constructive criticism and understand the goal of an elevator pitch.
?? Refine Your Delivery: Record yourself to improve tone, pace, order, flow, and sentence priority. Ensure your delivery is polished yet natural.
??#Test in Real Scenarios: Practice in real interactions, refine based on reactions, and finalize a compelling pitch for when it matters most.

From the list you shared, I personally think a creative way of capturing attention, either by using a powerful example or an analogy is essential especially in today's busy world, where we constantly get bombarded with information.
