When It Hits The Fan...

When transactions go smoothly anyone looks good, If loans close smoothly and on time the loan officer looks like a hero... if the buyer gets into contract on their first home choice and all goes well thru closing the realtor looks like a genius. No matter our industry... if all goes well anyone looks good.

But what if (let's use real estate as an example)

  • The buyer has credit and income issues and 3 lenders say no before you get a chance to work on it
  • The buyer makes 10 0ffers before they get one in contract
  • The inspection does not go well and the deal nearly falls apart
  • The seller cannot get a contractor out in a timely manner to perform the remedy issues
  • The appraiser is slow getting the report back and delays closing
  • Credit scores change at the last minute due to the buyers using a credit card for a major purchase

When this happens we earn our keep. Now experience matters, skill matters and communication is key. This is when many of our competitors fold and give up or make matters worse.

So complicated deals, issues and stress are your chance to stand out from the rest. Experience and customer service matter... those of us who have years or decades in our industries are positioned perfectly to shine when it hits the fan. Can a newbie get it done? Perhaps, but I know the veterans know what to do.

We know how to work deals through the system, how to hold things together and we have seen issues before. Guess what... you earn client loyalty by getting the hard deals done. You get deals done that your competitors could not and you get referrals, earn clients and watch your business grow.

So put your expertise to work and help the clients that require extra effort. When it hits the fan you are the one who can get it done.
