This was the time of the month of June when summers on their peak, I was sitting at home and reading novel suddenly I got my sister's call and I picked, she said what's going on
I just said sitting idle at home and reading novel she said ok, I have a surprise for you
and I am got excited and asked what's that,
She told I should guess what it can be, so I became confused because it can't be related to my birthday because my birthday comes in the month of September.
so I said is this new smartphone?
But she said no, finally, she said they are going to Macleodganj Himachal Pradesh on 8th of June, would you like to come with us?
I said yes, without a second thought and she booked my tickets, hotels booking and all.
I am very excited for this trip started doing preparations for this, finally, I did my preparation two days before the departure.
We reached Kashmiri gate Delhi to pick up the bus, In the evening at 8;30 bus departed from the bus stand and my feelings for this trip was giving me goosebumps, we reached Chandigarh around 11 pm and had dinner. Again we sit in the bus and bus started again to move and after midnight all passengers slept, I was very excited so I didn't sleep a whole night just took small naps.
It was the time of the early morning when I saw mountains around me, I became super excited and started seeing the view of outside from the bus window, around 6 am we arrived at Dharamsala, weather was extremely cold but I was excited.
our cab driver was waiting at the bus station and we sit in the cab and reached Dharmkot in Macleodganj, where we booked our hotel Shivaya.
we took a bath and had breakfast and started exploring the Macleodganj.
It was a 3 days trip so first we day covered all monasteries, ponds we all were very excited to explore new things, which we have seen never before one by one we explore everything than in the evening. we came to our hotel and had dinner and sit in the balcony of the hotel literally night view and the weather was super exciting, the wind was very cold and the sky is almost blue we can see stars very clear.
2 nd day morning we explored the church, villages nearby the Macleodganj, waterfall and Naddi. after some time we reached Dharamshala for paragliding yes I did initially, I was very nervous for it. but I made a decision for doing to this and reached the launching station and I have been launched from the hill it was wonderful and tremendous excitement, I could see entire Dharamshala from the sky.
3rd day was very exciting because it was our trekking to Triund, Triund is the Top of the Macleodganj, from where we can see the Dhuladhar range, in the morning we came and we started our trek, suddenly rain has started so we stopped and sit nearby the way, after sometime when rain stopped, we again started our trek and reached on the top of Triund. It was around 4 pm, when we reached Triund we made our camp and roaming the hill and trying to see how entire Macleodganj shows from the top of Triund. we also could see Dharamshala stadium from the top.
Next day we came to the hotel and packed our luggage and off to Delhi It was a nice and lifetime experience, o Mountains are always giving fresh air, natural beauty. we can't get anywhere all things are artificial and temporary, but Mountains and other natural places on the earth always permanent we should save time from our busy schedule to go there, strongly recommend this to everyone.
I know this lockdown or quarantine is very hard to handle but nothing is permanent so definitely we will get a chance again to go everywhere where we wanted to go.
I hope i will go again and get natural air.
