When the going gets tough...
Ran the ToughMudder in London this weekend with the team. It was cold, wet and definitively muddy. But, it was well worth it for the camaraderie and to support Mind: a nonprofit that provides support and advice for those who are seeking help with depression, suicide or in crisis. Please donate if you haven't already. Here are some pics of the fun and pain that we had to endure!
Before picture: note how happy and clean we are!
The race is approximately 10 miles with obstacles. This is Scott and I after coming out of the appropriately named "Arctic Anemia" - a luge into a shipping container full of ice.
It was hard but still people were having fun
The hills were the toughest part. At mile 8...serious leg cramp.
The race is unusual because it's untimed. You win as a team.
To finish was truly satisfying.
