When God Writes Your Story

June holds a special place in my heart and for my family. It's a month of significant milestones for our organization. It's a season where God writes our story!

Yesterday, my son gave me a heartfelt appreciation note that brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of a similar letter from my husband Ken on our 12th wedding anniversary.

Today, June 6th, is my birthday.

Here’s what I plan to do today:

Self-Care:

• Write letters to myself to be opened on my next birthday, in three years, and in five years. These letters will outline the person I aspire to be by the grace of God.
• Award scholarships to girls on the verge of dropping out of school.
• Perform a victory dance in praise of God Almighty, the Lord of Hosts, Yahweh Sabaoth.

"Then King David went in and sat before the LORD; and he said: 'Who am I, O LORD God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?'"

I will rejoice, dance, and praise the Lord, just like David did.

This is how we celebrate life. This is how we celebrate success.
