When To Expect a Decision From Judges

People often think that there is a set time period where a judge has to issue a decision on a social security case, but there isn’t. A judge typically issues a decision on a case within 30 to 90 days of the hearing. The big thing that can hold up a decision is if there is a delay in medical records. Having an attorney on your side who can collect and send the medical records to social security should keep the process moving efficiently.
