When in doubt, Zoom out - SLS 2022

“When in doubt, zoom out” - that's our motto at the sixth edition of our annual event: the Systemic Leadership Summit, where you'll be able to learn from over 100 speakers how to do just that (and a lot more too...!).

If you have been following the discussions across the world concerning the global pandemic or climate change, you may have wondered: what is really going on? Zooming out and seeing the bigger picture is not always easy. Especially when it requires embracing many viewpoints in a very polarized setting: it is much easier to harden in positions.

Systems thinking and systemic approaches turn out to be a great help with zooming out; for all of us, but especially for those who fulfill leadership positions and need to make decisions in a complex world.?

After 5 years of running the Systemic Leadership Summit I looked back on the tremendous amount of knowledge and experience that was share in the event. I feel deeply grateful and humbled by the generosity of all amazing speakers who were willing to be in conversation with me and share their expertise, their practice and much of themselves.

And also by the thousands of participants who joined the summit and let themselves be challenged and moved by the wealth of systemic approaches, viewpoints and practices that were brought to the table. The systemic field is so multifaceted, it is mind-blowing: by no means did we cover the entire field or combination of fields. But it certainly helped many to zoom out and see things from a different perspective, approach, way of working and some even a way of living.?

So this sixth edition of the summit is a special one: it is an encore summit in which I want to honor all speakers and their sessions to date, as well as a very limited number of new speakers. I'm sure there is lots and lots to learn and take away at all levels of experience with this field of fields.?
