When court's violate the law they are no longer just, nor can they be trusted.

Why do I keep allowing myself to believe there is some justice in our Criminal Legal System, just to be shown time and time again there is not.

Today, I met with member of Tennessee's DOC Parole Division to go over my letter to them to stop enforce the additional punitive sentences of Community Supervision for Life ("CSL") on me, because my current amended judgments do not have me sentenced to such. Specifically, amended judgments were entered on September 19, 2014 that do NOT have the box checked designating a sentence of CSL (See attached). According to Tennessee case law this is an illegal sentence that cannot be corrected by the state after the offender has been released from prison. In other words, since I've already been released from prison the state cannot enforce a sentence of CSL on me.

Instead, of doing the right thing and acknowledging that the box designating a sentence of CSL was not check on the amended judgments and removing the sentence of CSL from me the court said that I was lying, the Amended Judgments I had was doctored, and they sent different amended judgments that had the box checked designating CSL and stamped as entered in the court on 9/19/2014. I wish this had surprised me, I should of, because our whole legal system is supposed to be based on justice, but I wasn't. Actually, I would have been surprised if this court had done the right and just thing. Unfortunately, this court has doctored other documents in my case to cover up their mistakes, so why should I expect anything different now. This is just U.S. Justice, or should I say Injustice, at work!
