…creating economic growth and making a lasting impact

To illustrate this article, on “building is leading”, I used the front cover of the book titled “Born to Build”, by Jim Clifton and Sangeeta Badal, a hardcover edition of which one can buy for $19.36, through Amazon (? https://www.amazon.com/Born-Build-Jim-Clifton/dp/159562127X? ).

BTW, the book is grounded in global Gallup research.

Jim Clifton is Gallup Chairman and CEO.

Sangeeta Badal is Principal Scientist for Gallup’s Entrepreneurship and Job Creation initiative.

Gallup is a global analytics and advisory company renowned for conducting surveys to understand people's thoughts, behaviors and attitudes – used by businesses and organizations to enable them to improve performance.

Essentially, Gallup provides valuable insights into what people think and feel, which is crucial for decision-making.

…people ask you, throughout your life, “what do you do?”

I want to start this article by quoting the authors of the book I used to illustrate this article.

People will ask you throughout your life, “What do you do?” They never ask you, “What are you building?”

When conversations change to “What are you building?” the world will change.

According to the authors, “building” should be about creating economic growth and making a lasting impact.
