When ChatGPT validates your personal brand?

Is this validation your personal brand has jumped up a level, when ChatGPT recognises you and your alter ego and plays back to you what you want to be known for?

Recently I asked ChatGPT about the Bearded Sales Guy and she, we fondly call ChatGPT Viki in our house. Viki was the sinister AI in the film iRobot, Viki stands for Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence.?

Here’s how the conversation went. ?

[Me]

Do you know the Bearded Sales Guy?

[ChatGPT]

Yes, the "Bearded Sales Guy" refers to Ali Reda, a car salesman who achieved significant recognition for his remarkable sales records. He is known for setting a new world record in car sales, surpassing the previous record held by Joe Girard. Reda's approach to sales emphasizes strong customer relationships and a deep understanding of client needs, which has contributed to his success in the highly competitive automotive sales industry. His achievements have made him a notable figure in the realm of sales and customer service.

Okay, so clearly that’s not me, unfortunately the original Bearded Sales Guy has passed away so I no longer have him as competition R.I.P OG BSG!

The conversation with Viki continued…

What about the Bearded Sales Guy on social media, known for social selling and the conversation operating system. Have you heard of him?

[ChatGPT]

I'm not familiar with a specific "Bearded Sales Guy" known for social selling and the "Conversation Operating System" on social media.? If this "Bearded Sales Guy" is a contemporary figure, I can look up more specific information using my browsing tool to see if there are any recent developments or details about him. Would you like me to do that?

[Me]

Yes please

[ChatGPT]

The "Bearded Sales Guy" you are referring to is Alex, also known as the Bearded Sales Guy. He is particularly known for his work in the field of social selling and for creating the "Conversation Operating System," a methodology designed to help individuals and organizations scale conversations for predictable pipeline and revenue growth.?

Here's a summary of his approach and qualifications:

  • Mission and Approach: Alex's mission is to eliminate poor mental health from sales and to make sales fun again. His approach involves helping people to develop their personal brand, grow their network purposefully, create genuine and authentic content, engage with their audience effectively, and create meaningful conversations that lead to commercial outcomes.
  • Experience: Alex has a 30-year sales career, including 23 years in business-to-business sales and marketing, spanning three continents. His experience includes running sales teams and developing effective networking and prospecting strategies. He emphasizes that building relationships in sales requires trust and a different approach from traditional methods.
  • Content and Offerings: Alex produces various educational content, including blog posts, articles, and podcasts where he shares insights into sales, networking, and prospecting. He also offers coaching and practical guides for implementing his methods, like walking digital corridors and social selling techniques.
  • Qualifications: He is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP) and one of only a few globally to have obtained the ISP Social Selling & Influence certification. Additionally, he is a qualified Personal Change Leadership Instructor.

Alex's approach to sales is holistic, focusing on personal development, relationship building, and leveraging social media for effective sales strategies. His content can be found on various platforms including his website, YouTube channel, and Substack publication.

Additionally, there's a broader perspective on the concept of a "bearded sales guy" in sales. A blog post by James Rovenstine discusses how a beard can be leveraged in sales to establish trust, project confidence, make lasting connections, and enhance personal branding. The post explains that a well-groomed beard can make a sales professional appear more mature, reliable, and experienced, which can be advantageous in establishing rapport and trust with clients.

Well, I better go, I need to oil and blow-dry my beard! ??♀??

Yours sincerely,

The Bearded Sales Guy

Cumai A. - reading the comments to my recent post I recall our recent conversations about the importance of remaining ethical in everything one does and says on social media. If ChatGPT replays oneself back to them, like looking in a mirror, will they see the reflection they want to? #ChatGPT #AI #AIEthics
