When change happens to you
You will not always be in charge. It doesn’t matter how carefully you plan or how calculative you are, you will hit some but also miss some. It is just a fact of life. Many of the things that happen to us are because of the direct actions of other people, in which case we do not have direct control.
The reason is simple. We do not #control the will of other people. You can only control your own will. That fact makes us experience many things we did not plan for. Someone may leave you without you having a choice in whether they stay or not, especially when they are moving on to other good things. All you can do is to adjust to the #change.
We will spend most part of our lives adjusting to changes. The question is: how well are you doing with that? Are you adjusting well, or you are letting the change control your #attitude and your life? If something significant changes with you or around you, it is okay to feel disappointed but do not stay too long on it. Start channeling a new course of action or behaviour.

I have observed that the most #successful people are those who understand the three types of change – the inevitable change that happens outside our control, the changeable change that we can reverse and the needed change that we can initiate. When change is beyond your control, it has become an inevitable change. Your responsibility is to adapt to the change.
The way to adapt to change is to first change our attitudes. Without the right attitude, inevitable change can be overwhelming. When change happens to you, embrace an attitude of resilience and adaptability. Don’t get defeated.
