When Casual Drinks Turn Into Big Dreams

Success is a methodical game, it takes a big dream, an open heart, and thick skin. Most people don’t have all three. Don’t be like most people.?

Imagine one night that you met up with some friends for drinks. When you got there, you noticed a couple of new faces within the group and were warmly introduced to them.

As the night progressed, you found yourself drawn in conversation with one person in particular and without even noticing it, the majority of the night was spent engaged with them. It was as if you’ve known each other your whole lives.

As the height of the night started to dwindle down to the time felt right to call it a night, the both of you decided to continue the conversation into a change of scenery.

More time passes, but the two of you barely noticed how late it was getting. Your energetic exchange was too, hmm, I don’t know - just different.?

Oscillating between pleasantries, belly laughs, and topics that required some deep reflection, you both could have talked for hours upon hours. Then all of the sudden, you get asked the following question:

“Imagine you have gotten everything you needed from our conversation tonight to unlock the potential of getting EVERYTHING you could possibly have imagined. What would your life look like then?”

Now, this is a whopper of a question, I know. However, this isn’t your average conversation. In this conversation, you felt the most seen you have ever felt, the most heard, and the most understood.

A bit “tased” by the question, you pause, letting out an audible “hmm”,? accompanied by a slow nodding of the head with your eyes locked on theirs as if they were asking the question “where is this coming from?”.

It took you all but 5 seconds to allow your skepticism subside for you to consider this question. As you search for the answer within you, they ask you another question…

“Listen to your heart. Does your intuition offer you any hint as to why we’ve connected at this time in our lives?”

Intuitive wisdom is always seeking our attention. We can only hear it in moments where we are ready to shift into something extraordinary.?

It can be hard to access it, especially for high performers who excel at multitasking and enjoy the delicious tastes of success that are offered up by knocking out their to-dos daily.?

Yet, if we want to up-shift into our next level of success, we cannot do so with our current level thinking.

This quote by Niels Bohr, a deeply intuitive pioneering physicist sums this up nicely,

“No, no, you’re not thinking; you’re just being logical.”

If you want to actualize your BIG DREAMS, you are going to need to bypass logical thought because just as another famed scientist by the name of Einstein said (seen here with Bohr),

"If at first the idea is not absurd, then there will be no hope for it."

Back to the night out with your “new best friend” - YOU. The real you. The you who decided to spend the night in because intuitively, “cocooning” just “felt right”.?

No television. No screens. Just you, in your environment,? with God.?
