Drive Inventory:

One of the largest inventories of new & refurbished medium voltage VFDs in the country. EMA takes extreme pride in our medium voltage drive expertise of all brands.  EMA has engineered load test stands to test and repair medium voltage cells from Siemens/Robicon Perfect Harmony Series, Toshiba T300MVi, TMEIC Dura-Bilt5i, and Eaton SC900 MV VFDs and others. 

Startups and Commissioning:

We also provide quick turnarounds and 24/7 emergency technical support. EMA provides friendly onsite start up and expert field service on nearly all brands of Medium Voltage VFDs as well as low-voltage A/C Drives and D/C Drives. We have the technical expertise to get you going and successfully implement your systems. 

Field Service & Repair

EMA has three decades of world-wide experience repairing Medium and Low Voltage VFDs, DC Drives and controls. We can fix products from any major manufacturer. EMA engineers have been all over the world troubleshooting and starting up Medium Voltage VFDs. We’ve had engineers in Canada, Mexico, Belize, Columbia, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia to name a few! No job is too far for us! With complex systems, the list of potential problems is nearly endless. With three decades in the industry, our team of experts is able to address and repair almost any of those problems. From control logic issues to sensors to other ancillary equipment- if it breaks, we can help you get it working again.

EMA regularly provides preventive maintenance on nearly all brands of Medium Voltage AC drives, Low Voltage Drives and DC drives.

Parts

EMA has one of the largest stocks of new AC drives in the country, and we also carry reconditioned circuit boards, reconditioned drives, PLCs, SCRs (thyristors), IGBTs, Bipolar Transistors, Fuses and more.

Custom Systems 

Our customers use us for drive and automation systems because we offer a single source solution for design, installation, field support and parts. We design and build systems based on customer needs and specifications, and this allows us to be more cost efficient and flexible than the factory automation houses. Drives, soft starters & harmonic filters, Packaged control panels, and system integration.

SCADA & HMI Systems

Need a new SCADA or HMI system designed? EMA is a certified National Instruments LabView programming facility, and we can work with you to design and implement your new system. Just call us.

Retrofits

Drive and automation technology has progressed dramatically in the last few years. Newer equipment is more reliable, has more standard features and often costs less than the original. Many of our competitors will not install new drives into your existing drive cabinets, even when that’s the most sensible thing to do, but we will. At EMA, our years of experience allows us to integrate newer technology with existing systems for trouble-free installation and start-up. 

We Buy New & Used VFD's

EMA buys surplus (used and new) medium voltage VFDs from cancelled projects and equipment upgrades. If you have surplus medium voltage VFDs in your inventory contact us. 

Misc

GE Multilins 469, 750 and most others. EMA still sells, services, repairs and has parts for Stromag Drives. Ema is the only authorized distributor and service center in USA for LUST (KEBA-LTi). EMA has serviced and repaired numerous York MV VSD drives on chillers in ranges up to 10,000 Hp. 

In the Pacific Northwest EMA has partnered with Globale Reps to help develop training, scheduling field service, providing information and engineering assistance to PNW customers and to help with the design and implementation of new cost effective packaged control systems, based on customer specs for drives, soft starters, PLCs and harmonic filters.
