When Blockchains End the Two-Week Pay Cycle

Why do we have two-week pay cycles?

Probably because it’s easier for companies and more cost-effective for them.

But your expenses don’t occur every two weeks in a predictable manner, do they?

An article in the WSJ recently was about how some “gig” economy (and other) companies are moving to daily pay cycles.

This makes sense and it seems like it could be a very natural use case for blockchain as the back-end processing fees can still be quite high.

In the crypto future, daily (or even hourly) payment cycles will probably be the norm.
