When The Bird Realises, It Wasn't a Cage at all

?? The bird was free. He was careless. He could fly anywhere he wanted. He could fly as high as his wings allowed him to. He used to eat anything his eyed inclined or his tongue craved for.

He loved his lifestyle. He embraced the freedom. He secretively mocked his friends always busy with their birdie girlfriends. He decided he would never ever change.

"Love is a Cage of Gold. It steals your freedom." - He always said to himself.

Then comes this beautiful Birdie ???, sitting on a berry tree, eating red autumn berries with elegance. ??

Our hero caught a sight of her, losing himself completely in the charm of the Birdie. His heart started beating faster.?? He felt something. Something tickling his heart and his brain. He started smiling for no reason.

??Flowers bloomed, the day appeared shiner than ever before. For the first time in his life, he felt the coolness & freshness of the wind on his face. For the first time in his life, all the old attractions seemed to be fading. Everything went blurred. All there was the very image of that pretty Birdie.

The world was now more beautiful than ever before. Suddenly, the Birdie knew he was there, staring her desperately.

Their eyes meet. Our hero comes back to his senses. He looks away. He looks at her again. Birdies blushes, her eyes go down. He gathers courage and jumps next to her. They talk. They laugh.

~ Days pass ~

Love happens. Our hero is sitting with his birdie girlfriend, feathers interlocked, their peaks are closed, only eyes speak and the heart.

~ Months pass ~

Our hero is sitting in his home, the nest they made together after picking up twig after twig for days. He glances at Birdie who is busy washing her feathers in the rainwater accumulated in a little hole in the ground.

He smiles.

Birdie sees it. She asks - why are you smiling honey?

He says nothing. Just smiles again, with a deep reflection of bliss and satisfaction in his eyes. Birdie replies back with a smile.

"Love Doesn't Cage You. In fact, it Sets You Free." - He says to himself.??
